Planning food for a group comes down to one question: how much do I need? Here is what we tell people.
Start with a Realistic Headcount
Get a firm number before you do anything else. A rough estimate almost always leads to a reorder or a lot of leftovers. For smaller gatherings under 30 people, most hosts have a good feel for who is actually showing up. For larger events, 50 people and up, build in a small buffer, maybe five to ten percent above your confirmed count.
High chairs and booster seats are available if you are expecting young children, and our children’s menu covers guests under 12.
Breakfast Catering Is Quoted Per Event
Breakfast and brunch catering is quoted based on your specific event. What you are serving and how it is being delivered both factor into the price. We offer on-site service, hot drop-off, or pickup at the restaurant, and we can set things up buffet style, as a to-go buffet, or in individual portions.
The most useful thing you can do is fill out a quote request at /catering/quote. You will be able to describe your group size, your preferred date, and what you have in mind, and we will come back to you with real numbers.
How Far Ahead Do You Need to Book?
For most events, reach out one to two weeks in advance. For larger events or weekend dates, give us three to four weeks.
A Few Practical Notes by Group Size
25 people. Individual portions work well here, and pickup is a reasonable option if you have someone who can handle transport.
50 people. A buffet setup starts to make more sense than individual plates. Hot drop-off keeps things simple if your venue does not have a kitchen.
100 people. Lead time matters most at this size. Three to four weeks out is the right call. On-site service takes a lot of the logistics off your plate.
To get a quote, use our online quote builder at /catering/quote. You can also download the full catering menu at /catering-menu.pdf before you reach out. To talk it through, call us at (413) 594-8332.
